In the framework of International Short Film Festival of Cyprus

TSFM What’s the story? Cyprus is an intensive workshop, part of the new Talents Generator Factory initiative promoted by Talents and Short Film Market (TSFM), taking place for the second time in Cyprus in the framework of the 13th ISFFC.
Under the guidance of two experienced tutors, eight selected filmmakers and screenwriters from Cyprus, Israel, Greece and Egypt will take part in an intensive workshop during which they will work together in order to kickstart their respective storylines for an upcoming short film. Two candidates amongst the participants will be selected by the tutors and invited to take part in Talents and Short Film Market vol. 8, in November 2023 in Turin, Italy.
TSFM What’s the story? will take place between 9-13 October 2023 at the Rialto Theatre.
The tutors will be Enrico Vannucci, programmer, talent scout and distributor, and Iulia Rugina, director and screenwriter.
The open call for submissions, launched in May 2023, was addressed to upcoming film directors and/or screenwriters living in Cyprus, Greece, Lebanon, Israel and Egypt who have been working on a short film project in the early stages of development. The selection committee, composed by members of TSFM, selected the following eight participants who will take part in this second edition of TSFM What’s the Story? Cyprus 2023:
