Closing Ceremony
The island’s most important celebration of fiction feature films and independent filmmaking concludes this Saturday, 24th of April 2021, at the Rialto Theatre in Limassol.
Final screenings and awards ceremony
The audience will have the opportunity to watch the two final screenings of this year’s edition at the Rialto Theatre in Limassol, Siege on Liperti Street, directed by Stavros Pamballis, and The man who sold his skin by Kaouther Ben Hania.
The awards ceremony will be held after the screenings, where the winning films of the Glocal Images competition section will be announced, as decided by the international jury, consisting of prominent personalities of the film industry. The Audience Award will also be handed out to the festival’s most popular film, as voted by the viewers. Cypriot actress Nedi Antoniadi will be the presenter of the closing ceremony, directed by Magdalena Zira in collaboration with SEASON Women.
Screenings in Nicosia
At Zena Palace, Nicosia, Cyprus Film Days will be concluding on Friday, 23rd of April, with screenings of the films Bacurau by Kleber Mendonca Filho & Juliano Dornelles, The man who sold his skin by Kaouther Ben Hania and the Cypriot production Senior Citizen by Marinos Kartikkis.
