Τhe stage of Rialto welcomes once again the Kypria International Festival

The Rialto Theater will host three magnificent performances of Kypria International Festival 2022.The performances will present from September 8 to 20 as follows:


• Thursday 08/9 - En Crypto - Choreography and directing by Elena Christodoulidou.

• Sunday 11/9 - New Child - Monologue by Katia Dandoulaki - Directed and Written by Thanasis Papathanasiou and Michalis Reppa.

• Tuesday 20/9 - The Cherry Orchard by Anton Chekhov directed by Marios Theocharous.


En Crypto

An attempt to return to normality, En Crypto is a performance that asks the viewer to delete today’s living memories and painlessly return to the old ones, utterly alienating us from our own truth. We have nothing else to hide but reality.

New Child

Daphne’s monologue, performed by renowned Greek actress Katia Dandoulaki, narrates incidents that we have all experienced in one way or another. The conservative father, the mind-reading mother, love affairs, marriages, betrayals, childbirths, children that no-one is capable of understanding, time relentlessly flying, botox and loss.

The Cherry Orchard

Pocket Theatre presents the last written play by outstanding Russian playwright, Anton Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard. A story about the relentless power of change and the confusion of future uncertainty.
