After two years of restrictions on the number of spectators and guests, the International Short Film Festival of Cyprus welcomes its twelfth edition with optimism and dynamism. The festival week begins this Saturday, 8 October 2022 at Rialto Theatre, with an opening ceremony that will include an audio-visual spectacle, especially created for the festival by the electronic music composer and digital artist, Pandelis Diamantides.
Following the opening ceremony, the competition screenings will commence, with films by Cypriot and international filmmakers. Throughout the festival, the audience will have the opportunity to watch exciting short films from around the world, while five original thematic events will be presented in parallel to the main competition programme.
All screenings are suitable for 18+.
