The 27th Cyprus Contemporary Dance Festival came to a close with packed theatres

The 27th Cyprus Contemporary Dance Festival, co-organised by the Department of Contemporary Culture of the Deputy Ministry of Culture and Rialto Theatre, concluded with outstanding success, attracting a total audience of 1,935 people across this year's seven performances.

This year's edition reaffirmed the Festival's position as one of Cyprus' leading cultural institutions, while highlighting the steadily growing public interest in contemporary dance. Once again, audiences in Limassol and Nicosia had the opportunity to experience a programme of exceptional artistic quality, featuring productions and performances that have been presented and toured at some of the world's most prestigious international festivals and theatres. Through these collaborations, Cyprus continues to play an active role in a wider international network of cultural exchange, offering local audiences access to works that are shaping the global contemporary dance landscape.

The audience response was truly inspiring. With enthusiasm, commitment and genuine interest, spectators embraced the performances, demonstrating the continued growth of a community that actively seeks out and supports artistic creation and contemporary dance. The warm reception extended to both the artists and their work stands as the greatest reward for everyone who contributed to this year's successful edition of the Festival.
