The much-anticipated Rialto Cinema event returns this year, transforming the SEK parking area behind the Rialto Theatre into an atmospheric open-air cinema under the stars. From September 4th to 10th, the people of Limassol will have the opportunity to enjoy a carefully curated selection of films that have captivated audiences and critics alike from all corners of the world.

Un Triomphe (France, 2020)
Directed by Emmanuel Courcol, this French production was an official selection at Cannes Film Festival in 2020 and won the Best European Comedy Award by the European Film Academy. Etienne, runs a theatre workshop in a prison, where he brings together an unlikely troupe of prisoners to stage Samuel Beckett’s play Waiting for Godot. When he is allowed to take the colourful band of convicts on tour, Etienne finally has the chance to thrive. This profoundly humane and heartfelt comedy, inspired by true events, features Cesar-winning actor Kad Merad. In French with Greek and English subtitles.
