New season starts differently at the Rialto Theatre - Man on the Roof by the SRSLYyours Ensemble & Friends
Because nothing is as we used to in the entertainment world, the Rialto Theatre chooses to start its season with a performance from its new program, the FlashArt @Rialto.
The performance Man on the Roof by the SRSLYyours Ensemble examines the resilience and fragility of the live arts amidst imposed digital realities. Combining live theatre and streamed performance, Achim Wieland (director/dramaturge), Marios Ioannou (protagonist/co-dramaturge) and Sakari Laurila (filmmaker) create an interactive Manifesto making Theatre the protagonist and revealing its universal value in its physical, political and spiritual dimension.
